Your title is a bit more imaginative - mine was 'dust storm in Sydney'. Incredible wasn't it? So nice to be breathing clearer air today!
Lanie.Lanie https://www.blogger.com/profile/12752139198631821577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797396120087729156.post-7151803569470929522009-09-24T13:55:42.034+10:002009-09-24T13:55:42.034+10:00That's slightly scary, Jamie. The TV footage was exactly as red as your photos. Just looking at them makes me short of breath. I hope it passes quickly. We're getting a comparatively minute flyover of wildfire smoke. The sun was red yesterday morning. Cool, but ominous. This morning there was ash on my car.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797396120087729156.post-29019601126376691132009-09-24T03:47:58.434+10:002009-09-24T03:47:58.434+10:00That's seriously crazy, I read about it on the...That's seriously crazy, I read about it on the BBC website earlier!

I can't blame you for staying in the house - I think I would too!Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08640322232670777125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797396120087729156.post-15568681091651160492009-09-23T22:54:44.219+10:002009-09-23T22:54:44.219+10:00Didn't think I was the only Sydney blogger to ...Didn't think I was the only Sydney blogger to post today!Chookiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07230973711859964063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797396120087729156.post-81396154596672041642009-09-23T21:03:17.956+10:002009-09-23T21:03:17.956+10:00Your dust storm featured on our national news here...Your dust storm featured on our national news here in the Uk - it looked horrid and they said that somewhere hear you it had rained mud!!!! At the time I was grateful that the dust had cleared before the rain came - last year we had a dust storm mixed with rain and the whole town was decorated with muddy streaks.

But my gratitude was reduced slightly when I saw my car this morning and found it hadn't escaped. It looks like I'll need to wash it again on the weekend - a task I usually delay as long as possible with the excuse of conserving water.Onesimushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11413061573637313957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797396120087729156.post-70634965123016116322009-09-23T13:12:00.782+10:002009-09-23T13:12:00.782+10:00I'm sure that must be spooky for someone exper...I'm sure that must be spooky for someone experiencing it all.
